Haddoni spawning event

Hi,this all started yesterday afternoon.I came home from work to see all the Astrea snails in the tank spawning.I did a water change & added carbon to the sump.A while later,I noticed both of my carpet anemones looking odd. They were both stretched upright-almost out of the sand.I then noticed that the blue carpet appeared to also be spawning. It would release a cloud of spawn about every 5 minutes. The event was still going on when I finally gave up on water changes & went to bed.The fish were going crazy feeding & even the skunk clowns were feasting.Anyhow,I was wondering if others have had a Haddoni spawn before?I'm glad to report that I suffered no loses due to the event.I have attached a small video clip of the event.I'm sorry for the poor quality, but still thought it would be cool to share. Thanks for looking & any info would be great.

I've had no experiences with haddoni's spawning. But, that's pretty neat. The purple tang looks fat and happy for sure. Good protein for the fish in any case.

About a year and half ago , I got a shipment of S.haddoni and they were in bad shape. Before they died, they spawned. One green one give live birth to three fully developed babies, though non survived. The blue one only gave out some milky smoke.

There is also some one recently on RC, that her 9 year old S.haddoni spawned every day. The anemone looks stressed.

I also had a red S.haddoni that gave live birth before it died but the babies were not as well developed as the green S.haddoni.

I think I have some pics in mine old server and let me see if I could find the pics.

Here you go: http://www.exoticcoral.com/anemones(reproduction01).htm

The cream color baby was from a red S.haddoni.

Shutiny,do you think it was a stress response,in relation to the mass astrea spawning earlier in the day then?So far, both the Haddonis & everything else seem fine. Thanks for the info-I couldn't get your link to work, but I'll try again.

The Two haddoni that gave births were new comers, some were just being acclimated, so I would think so. There were few reports that seemed to pointed to a stress/survival process. But the babies were in the mother already in the haddoni cases. I am wondering what would have happened if the anemones did acclimated to mine tank successfully? Would I have a better chance of growing them?

The asexual reproduction of two H.magnificas have been in mine tanks 1+ and ~6 months respectively.

You may pm me if you still unable to get the link to work, I have lots more pictures:) Don't want to for people to get sick of mine pictures.
