Haddoni w/o Live Rock?

After a few fish snacks, I am moving my haddoni and GSM's over to their own tank (on the same system).
So, will the haddoni be just as happy in a 4" sandbed only or would it benefit from having some live rock as well. The LR is not needed for filtration as this tank is tied into a system of approximately 140g with two other tanks and a sump with LR.

In the wild, they are found in openish sand flats. However, all of mine (( been keeping them for 15+ years )) have always planted themselves right at the rock/sand interface, with the foot buried under the rock. I would put a few pieces in there, and make a cove out of the rocks.

I have thought about this many times. Haddonis have a tendency to move rock around the tank with their strong foots. If I were to try it, I think I would place the foot of the anemone in a capped Piece of PVC about the same depth as your sand bed and then bury it in the sand. This way the PVC is concealed and the anemone should remain stationary thus creating the lone anemone in the sand flat look.

I'm making a set up with just sand, Haddonis and clowns that's it, Ill post the build here when I do it, I'm just getting all the stuff together, she'll be a 70 gallon cube, cant wait
