Hair Algae Problem

I have been in this going on 7 years now no Hair at all. A few months ago It just started blazing up everywhere. My back glass, my rocks have a LOT. Have changed nothing. Since it started I have cut back to feeding 2 times a week if that. All my levels are fine....? Why now? I put in a clown tang a month ago, it eats some, and I just added a orange spot rabbit a week or so ago, he is gettin fat on it, but tank looks the same, all hairy...
i know adding the fish to control it is like putting a bandaid on a broken arm, but I cannot get rid of this crap. Any ideas???

have you checked the tds of your RO/DI? and are your bulbs old?

I second what lee says, had the same issue changed bulbs and RO/DI and poof it's gone! My lawnmower is ****ed though! So he eats flakes now lol

Yup, either high TDS, old bulbs, or PO4 would be my guess....
