Hair Algae

Hi everyone,

So my tank has been up and running great for about a couple months. Seeing great growth and color with no sick fish or anything. I had no algae or any issues. We recently picked up very cheap frags because they had green hair algae on them. Now the problem is I can't get rid of it! And it is spreading. My main issues is it's only really on the coral we bought. Polyps, Zos all look healthy besides this bloom of hair algae on them. I want to make sure I get something that will not hurt the coral but pick at the algae on it.

What's the best solution. The tank is a 29 do I can't do a tang or foxface.

Thanks

The algae did not grow in my tank originally, it was on the coral we bought and we just can not get it to go away. It is not our water as no algae has actually grown in the tank besides these pieces

Also when removing the hair algae by hand, what is the best glove to use so that the coral doesn't sting but I don't pollute the water. Normal rubber glove? Latex?

i only did this for a couple of minutes and it was fine...it was like 50 /50..solution...also latex gloves works good also wear goggles too you dont want any thing getting in your eyes ..especially from zoas...
