Slugs and seahares are pretty complex animals. And though like most eveything else in this hobby, they are subject to lots of generalizations. I'm certainly not going to tell you that your aplysia (sp?) seahare is going to kill your tank, bacause I'm not an expert nor do I have any personal experience with them. Some Nudibranchs and slugs will do exactly what you're fearing. Others won't. Much like some species of sea cucumbers. There is a forum dedicated to nudibranchs, maybe someone else can chime in if they know/remember the name.
