do you have any corals in there now? if so get a yellow tang or a mimic tang they are great grazers

get a scopas tang and a s*** load of blue leg hermit crabs. My hair algae disappeared quick. hope this helps.

if you guys read the article i posted then you will see that eficient skimming and phos removers are the best and most effective methods

thank you michael.. but i would rather put somthing in thats gonna look good in my tank and take care of alge control... but i did read what you posted and thats why i come on here i got my ways and i look for other ways to help me progress

Don't put too many Hermits in as they will eat everything in site and there will not be enough food left for all of them to survive. This will lead to a bunch of dead crabs which will pollute your tank and lead to more algae. I wouldn't do any more than 1 per 5 gal
