Hairline cracks in bottom bracing

I have two small hairline cracks in bottom bracing (center and right side of tank). One of the cracks keeps building up slowly with salt creep. How worried should I be and is there way to fix this without draining and removing everything? If no then I already have a custom tank build lined up.

One of my first memories of being married (28 years ago) is a hairline crack all the way down the front glass of a 30 gallon tank. Started as something like yours caused a small mishap during a move. No leaks so I decided to set it up, until one night. It sounded like lightning outside, followed by the sound of running water. The glass did not shatter but the small crack ran all the way down the front glass. The water pressured pushed a fine stream projecting about two feet in front of the tank. Luckily we had two buckets, my wife and I too turns catching the water and running to empty in the bathroom. Not a fun night.
I would not risk it. How many gallons?

Is it a crack or a scratch? Hard to tell from picture but looks like a scratch. Is it one of the main panes of glass? Plastic. Sorry, maybe its my screen.

It looks and feels like a scratch. After three hours of taking the picture I already had a little salt creep built up on it. Its the black plastic bracing on the bottom of the tank.

If it gets salt creep just on the scratch/crack then I think it is a crack. I scratch won't let salt creep thru.

Well if it's in there then yeah it's cracked. But if it's superficial then it could just be a scratch. I have a really annoying scratch on my tank that grows algae in it and it's difficult to clean. I have no idea how it even got there but fortunately it's not on the front pane.

You could also try shining a flashlight at it at different angles. That might help you see if it's a scratch or crack.

well after reading everyone's comments I have inquired about a custom cube. This crack might not have been a bad thing because now I can justify to my wife why I need a new tank and why it needs to be bigger than my current one, lol. I just hope the crack/scratch will hold up long enough for the new tank to arrive. Here is one more pic of the salt build up which happened to occur over a 24 hour period.

When is the new tank going to arrive? I would glue a piece of glass over the crack to hopefully help it hold longer.

Would caulking work instead of glass? I don't know what the time frame is going to be. I just sent the dimensions in yesterday and still waiting to hear back for a price. I'm also looking into a Marineland 93 cube as well, but would prefer a bigger tank.

man I would not trust that at all for another day......... its only a matter of time before that seal gives.......

Thisbisbtral cause for concern. Change the tank yesterday. The leak is a sign the ram will bursts . Is the tank perfectly leveled?
