Hairy mushroom acting funny.......

Not sure whether this is normal or not......but it seems that in the past few days, every time I turn the powerheads off in the tank to feed, I watch this big mushroom curl up like this......any idea why they do this??

it's normal and they'll also do that when they catch something to eat

Talking about eating.....what can I feed them? I have never fed them before, even though they are doing great........Ive even had them split. But I thought that they might do even better if I spot fed them.......

krill for me, even some flake, i have one green and purple hairy that is about 8 inches in diameter so he eats alot.
