I went to a public aquarium, and saw two clowns in hairy mushrooms, as if they were anemones. i found online that hairy mushrooms can eat fish. Could this mushroom eat my clown? would it host the clown?

I have a large hairy mushroom about the size of a salad plate. It will close up on anything that gets on it. It closes pretty slowly so a fish would have time to escape. I have had to rescue several hermit crabs though that tried to walk across it.
