I've had this guy for two weeks and he seemed healthy but an hour ago some strange orange string appeared within the tentacles and bonded the tips of the tentacles together. I searched and couldn't find any threads with answers.
Looks like it grabbed onto something that's entangled in the tentacles. It could be strings from the column/foot sloughing off. Just leave it alone and it'll probably release the debris.
Your Condylactis is bleached. You should target feed it small portions of raw seafood every couple of days. It should have a brownish tint/opacity to the tentacles, not see through like they are now.
