I don't think we need to sign up with eyeyak club. We will drive there ourself.

Would the tide be pretty low on Saturday morning (May 19)? I can't make it Sunday.

I Googled the tides.

According to this website (http://tbone.biol.sc.edu/tide/tideshow.cgi?site=Half+Moon+Bay,+California&units=f), the lowest tied is on Friday at around 6:30 am. So I think Sat should be pretty good.

We were going to go but my boy and my wife is sick. Can't go this weekend ..

Did anyone go to this? I went on Saturday, but I did not find the tidepools.

It was a pretty good outing though. The kids had fun collecting shells and watching clams shoot up water at beach; while me and my wife picked up plastic trash.

I'm just wondering where there are tidepools I can take the kids during low tide.

Good tidepools can be found in the Moss Beach area. I like to use the Princeton access, at the end of West Point Dr. There is a parking lot at the end of the road, just hike up and over the cliff and you'll see it. I went Saturday, it was a little blown out and turbid, I saw some good stuff anyway though.

Also check out fitzgerald marine reserve just a few miles north of Half Moon Bay.
