halide height above water

im in the planning stage of a 70rr oceanic. i plan on purchasing a stand and cap from them. my only concern is that i noticed the caps overall height is only 8 inches. so, that means if i was to install a single 250w SE retro, the bulb would be only like 4 inches off the water. is this going to cause heat issues, as well as light coverage issues? (the tank is 36.5" x 18.5" x 25")

Heat I am not shure. But you will have a hard time getting coverage from one bulb .
