halide lighting

I'm looking to get a halide light. What is a good one for my tank to get? I have a 150 gallon tank. 28 inches high...

Id say 3 x 250 or 3 x 175
or
2x250 with supplemental lighting.

Depends what you want to keep, I would say 3 250W or even 2 or 3 400W bulbs if you plan to go SPS only.

I would personally go for 14000K bulbs as they still offer reasonable growth and are blue enough that supplemental actinic lighting is not required.
