Halides mess up my cable

Discovered today that my halides cause "snow" on my CBS. Since TWC stinks and the greedy bums wont give us CBS in HD I had to watch football in regular definition all day and I had to leave the tank dark.

Do you have e ballasts? That's one of the reasons I ditched mine, though I don't watch much TV anymore and don't have a tank upstairs anymore.

yep, two E-ballasts (one IceCap, one EVC Tech)

I was told that I had a loose connection or crack in my TV cables that caused it.

Yeah im a cable guy and have seen that before..... have that line changed and you should be good

I got the same problem with my halides. Guess I'll change out some cables and see if it goes away. Thanks for the advice.

if either of you need some help changing the cable out i have plenty of extra wire and fittings!! i would def help run some lines for a frag
