Ive got brand new SLS 430w HQI blue wave ballasts, pushing Radiums in a lumen max fixture.
2 out of 3 of these lamps randomly turn on and off. Ive replaced all the lamps, fixed the problem for 2 weeks, then it started again. I then replaced one of the 3 ballasts (the one with the biggest issues) fixed the problem again for 2 weeks now its back again.
Its not my power supply (ive run an extension cord from another circuit). ive tried a whole new set of Radiums and I still cant get the issue fixed.
SLS doesnt have an explination, and they say its not a common problem. I know over driving Radiums is somewhat common, anyone with other ideas?
Oh and these ballasts do NOT have thermal protection.
