Halloween Hermit Crab

Just in time for the holiday! I am offering my Halloween Hermit Crab free to a good home. He's been a bit of a bad boy as of late...a week ago he made a meal out of a very large trochus snail and then promptly moved into the spotlessly cleaned out shell...and this morning I found him picking at some of my favorite zoas; so needless to say I no longer trust him. Maybe he was just underfed and ate opportunistically...either way, he's free to anyone who wants him.

He's very colorful, and very active...(the pic below is just an example of this type and is not a photo of the actual crab offered).

Pick up will be at Sac State...

The picture your showing everyone there is of a Electric Orange Hermit Crab. Not the same as a Halloween. Halloween Hermits have primarily orange legs with tiny black bands. Just a observation, don't take offense. Very nice that your getting him a more suited home.

I will house the beast if he is still available. Halloween hermit works for me as far as naming him goes. When we start getting into the scientific names of each hermit crab, I draw the line

The crab was picked up yesterday by C4SxM5. I'm just glad that he found a home, and I hope he continues to do well. I just couldn't justify keeping him at the risk of my corals...
