Hammer coral frag

I know, yet another noob LPS question.

So I got my first LPS, a hammer that has a single head on a typical frag plug. I think it's happy where it's at, but I just have the plug in a crevice of live rock.

My question is, the way it's in there now, it's not vertical...but tilted a bit to the side. Will the coral care about this as long as it's getting the light/flow it likes or should I find a way to get it off the plug and make it vertical?

it's fine the way it is. once it grows larger it will have multiple heads pointing out in all directions - some sideways, some virtical etc...

Exactly. Mine are sideways and crazy and they're big and vibrant.
