Hammer Coral getting too big

If it were a branching hammer there would be plenty of room for it to fill in, I can't say with a wall hammer though, they have a completely different growth pattern. I have a branching hammer that is getting too large for my 20g, last count if I remember correctly is 38 heads. It's turning into a nice large ball/sphere, hopefully I don't need to frag it since it's real close to one of my duncans and it's gotten rather aggressive lately with sweepers etc.

Thank you. Yes it seems very happy. It's 30" down on the bottom of my 125g tank and I use 3 x Kessil 360's. I would say the flow is low to medium. Sways nicely. I feed each head a piece of krill usually 2 or 3 times a week.

Hi there, I didnt realize that Hammerheads can be fed - my understanding is that they dont need to. When you say krill, how large is it and is this the dry type you buy in a container ? thank you

You do not want to feed the dried kind. I have found my hammers and frog's like smaller food like brine, small mysis (hikari, not PE), and espically live blackworms.
