i have a hammer coral (ridge not branching) that i have had for over a year now. it has totally blossomed(sp) in my tank, growing like crazy. anyways......5 days ago i notice that part of it looks as if the polyps have died?!?!?!? why would this have happend just now, any suggestions? my parameters are all fine, no ammonia, no nitrate/nitrite, alk is ok, ph is fine, calcium levels are above 400.
i have a branching hammer, frogspawn, torch, leather, monti cap(s), shrooms, zoas, anemones, etc. and nothing else is having any problems!
