We bought a wall hammer, and while I understand it likes "moderate" flow, I'm wondering if my idea of moderate is similar to that of everyone else. It's place mid-level in our tank, about 10" below the surface in our 90g, under pc lighting. It's near a rotating powerhead that puts out about 300 - 350 gph. The closest part of the wall hammer is just over 4" from the tip of the powerhead and gets hit by the sweeping motion about every 8 seconds for about 2 seconds. Here's a short movie clip that shows the flow -- it's low res, but you can see the hammer move when the current hits it. Is this too much flow?
