hammer coral polyps

will the polyps on my hammer coral get bigger? how big do they usually get?

hey m1nhoh,

it all depends on lighting, how big the coral are and if they extending their feeding tentacles. mines usually extends about 4"

Define polyps, do you mean the tentacles, the heads, the bases?... Whatever it is it depends on the hammer, wall or branching? Your water conditions will have tons to do with it too...

sorry by polyp i meant the individual green heads, and i meant size as in diameter of it
