Hammer coral question

Neighboring corals, I had a magnifica right next to it that got a little too close for comfort.

It's funny you say that. I had an acan that was pretty close to it that I caught trying to eat a tentacle yesterday. I moved it last night so we'll see if it makes a difference this afternoon

Yeah keep a close eye out, I had a toxic pie chalice next to an echinata for about a day in my frag tank. Totally forgot about it. I wake up to see half the flesh on my chalice gone, and a sweeper tentacle from the echinata that I kid you not, was about 7 inches long.

Wow that's insane. I will definitely keep a close watch.

Hammer coral question

Can't believe I posted about this 4 months ago. Just thought I'd throw an update up about how this coral looks now. It seems to be thriving in my system.
