Hammer coral question

I've had this particular hammer coral for a year now and have never seen its stinging sweeper tentacles day or night. Is it abnormal ?
Otherwise its happy.

I've had mine for 3 years and I have never seen tentacles longer than the normal stuff. They have grown from 1 head to over 20 so... no issues there.

Good glad to hear..... as soon as I move it to a more crowded space they will probably come out and kill all around
