Hammer Coral Stung!!!

Looks like me hairy mushroom decided to expand his territory.
I thoght i gave them enuf room.
Now to hammer polyps have shrunk and you cant even see green!!!
what to do?
I moved him already.

You have to separate them. I had the same thing happen with my hammer and shrooms. What a PITA shrooms can be.

did it kill them on the initial encounter?

It actually did kill 1 head of the Hammer. I'm not sure if the Hammer shifted or what happened. But by the time I saw it the Hammer was totally receaded, and never recovered. Only 1 head of 5, but it was still a bummer.

This is the Hammer. The head that died is at the bottom and you can't see it now because its open. But the shrooms are the ones on the overflow and rock in the back. There is a whole colony of them just out of the bottom of this pic.

Let me know if you want a better pic of the shrooms, this is really a pic of the Hammer I already had uploaded.

Thanks for posting, im sorry that happened to you, put i have shrooms and a hammer that are pretty close to each other, now I will separate.

I haven't had any expierience with a brain, but I would separate them also.
