thats what everyone told me but it seems that as soon as i put them together my hammer coral didnt do as well then i moved it and its back to normal on a side note do u know why my clown is bitting the heads off my flower pot??

IME, frogspawn and hammer seem to do alright touching each other, but the torch will attack both. I put my torch coral too close to both my frogspawn and hammer and it melted a couple heads off each in about 2 days.

I thought any corals from the euphyllia family could touch each other.

Nope...I thought that too until I put my torch too close to my frogspawn

If you want them close together first put them in the tank a distance apart then slowly move them closer over a period of a couple weeks. I have a 17 head torch , a 7 head hammer , and a 10 head frogspawn and they are next to each other and I have had no ill effects from it.
If you put them close together right from the start they will irritate each other.

sound like a plan to me

my torch put out sweepers at the beginning and try to attack anything nearby. but they disappear in weeks and i haven't seen the sweepers for months and it's now doing great splitting with new heads and kinda touching the flowerpot and pavona with no ill effect so far. but of cuz i moved away the pavona already ; p

so i'm guessing it's the time in terms of "acclaimation" to its neighbors
