Hammer help ID, lighting?

I got a small hammer colony about a year ago at a LFS for $30. I thought it was a frag from there larger green hammer coral that had just faded to a brown from being under poor lighting and that some day i would have nice green hammers. Well the colony has grown several new heads and never turned the slightest bit of green but now seems to be more blue and only spends about 25% of the time fully inflated. The heads themselves have never gotten very large either, the biggest about a golf ball fully inflated.

I just moved from a 15g to a 20 Long and added about 5 pounds of cured rock but its still going through a little bit of a cycle right now.


My bulbs (4x24) are KZ's and about a year old so i'm planning on replacing them here very soon. 2-blue 1-purple 1- white. I'll probably keep same arrangement but a lower temp white.

the aiptasia surrounding the coral certainly aren't helping anything

Green stars. The glass anemones our whatever they are to the right have plenty of distance and have never really bugged me. Not sure if the stars are a threat they grew over onto the hammer in last tank
