Hammer help!!

i bought this branching hammer from lfs and put it in the tank and it was all good for two or three days then it started to die and now I have the assumption that the branch is dead but at least i have another branch still alive what should i do at this point. is there a chance it will grow back? all parameters are normal salinity is 1.024

If there is tissue left around the spot where the head was, there may be a slight chance that more offshoots could grow, but it's unlikely. How did you lose those heads? I'd be wary of brown jelly disease or a malady that could spread.

A preventative dip may help.

Same thing happened to mine. Put 4 heads in n its 3. I just left it alone, the head died off n everything is fine now. Normally people dip it, vitamin c, or cut the dying part off. I think mine might've eaten something like some slime off a melting zoa or something. Idk but everything is fine now
