Does anyone have any idea why my hammer appears to be healthy, but is no longer green? Everything else seems to be happy...
Calcium is at 450

I have found that with hammers in the past if you have part of it covered and move it seems to look like it has lost its colour but it will come back in no time at all

All Euphyllia like low light and low flow. From where it is I assume that it's getting too much light. Need to see a full set of parameters to rule them out.

Just an FYI, Hammers are LPS corals not soft corals, figured I mention that since you posted this in the soft coral forum.

From my experience are you giving it random flow.could be that it's not receiving enough flow.also my Euphyllia tend to do better with mid intensity lighting and random flow that keeps them swaying I'm different directions

Hmm, I guess I don't see the problem. I've seen plenty of hammers/torches with less color than that, heck, I've got one myself.

Is it inflating fully? Does it shrivel up often, or for long? Excreting slime or mucus?

It shrivels about once a day, but mainly stays fully inflated. When I first got it, it was a bright neon green color in the tips.

Your Mg is quite low and you appear to be having Kh swings. Are you dosing anything? Also what happened in the 4 days between to raise your Kh?
