hammer question

About 6 months ago one of the heads of my hammer coral detached. I figured it was gone, today i found it alive under a rock. I moved it out from under the rock and now the flow moves it around. My question, can I glue it onto a rock and put it where it belongs ? Any help would be great.

Yes, you can glue it on the rock. I glued mine to a piece of tonga and stood it in the sand bed
