So I have an aqueon pro flex 2200gph overflow and another over flow with the same 2 1" drain and dual u tube. I have both of them on my tank but it doesn't even keep up with my mag 18. I plumbed the mag 18 with 3/4 pvc have about 6 90degree elbows, 1 t , and 2 45 degree fittings still these 2 can't even keep up!!! Would anyone know what's going on?

What is going on is that overflow is not capable of flowing 2200 gph, no matter what Aquaeon claims, best case scenario would be closer to about half that. With your plumbing setup you are putting out about 700 gph, which the overflow should do easily, so let's see what is really going on. A few pics of the setup will tell a lot.

Got this done and figured this out. I just leaned the overflow inside the tank a bit more and it solved the problem. Now I need to get the other one to drain a little faster. Thanks for your help though.

Why do you need so much water flowing through your system? How many gallons is the tank? Why do you have an internal overflow and a external overflow?
