Hang on refugium and T5s

My girlfriend bought me a new tank (Odessey 50). I do not want to drill the tank if I dont have to. The tank is 36in long. I was looking at this:

Or should I go with the next smaller size?

I would like to grow anything in the tank. Could I get a retro T5 set-up with 6 lights and still be able to have clams and sps if i put the sps high to mid level in the tank? Thanks for your halp

instead of buying something that doesnt come with the skimmer or light, why not just buy a aquaclear filter and fill it with whatever you need?

More area for curi-gen or carbon or smething like that. lights dont cost that much

That's bigger and cheaper than the biggest CPR I paid $150 for.
Wonder how thick acrylic is.
I like that it comes w/ adjustable baffles.
Wouldn't want the skimmer, you can do better on that.
I'd swap the RIO pump for...ANYTHING!
Looks alright to me, and yeah, much better/bigger than Acuaclear
