Has anyone tried one of the hang on refugiums? Thought of hanging it off my sump as it does not have much room for a normal one.

I've using the cpr small I wish it was the bigger but I definitely do like it. My sump isn't big enough for one in and this works fine. Only thing I had to do was extend outlet so it wasn't so long.
I used a large aclimate box sitting on top of the baffles in my sump to create a refugium. I put a small, very low flow submersible pump in the sump with the tube going into the aclimate and let the water fill up and flow over the edge. I have some live rock rubble and chaeto in there and it works really well for me.
