Hanna Phosphate Test

The 736, the ultra low range, is mor eideal for what we need. It measures in ppb, and is then converted to ppm, so its range of accuracy is more precise. IE +/- 5% of a ppb measurement will be more precise than one with ppm.

I have used both, and have had no problems with them or the use of them.

+1 Well said, Jim.

Is the API Phosphate test any good? Petco has them at $1 off. So $9. Not too bad.

API is very unaccurate. If you want good kits that are realiable use Salifert, and a little cheaper is the new Red Sea Coral test kits. Cost a little more upfront but then you can buy refills and ends up being a lot cheaper. For Phosphate I am learning Hanna digital
