We conducted a test between a Milwaukee PO4 meter ($200.00) vs the new hannah checkmate ($40.00), and the results were awesome!
Using the same tank as the control, which had a PO4 issue, the meters came out almost dead even. The Milwaukee PO4 meter read 1.09 where the Hannah read 1.10. the variance can easily be attributed to slight differences, such as a drop or 2 of water, reagent residue, and any other user imposed anomalies( fingerprints, lint, ect on the cuvet).
Just for fun we also tested with an API PO4 test kit, which came out around 4ppm, completely off.
So hats off to the new hannah checkmate, and a great, affordable solution that is as accurate as any out there for the hobbyist!
