Happy 4th of July

thanx Chris! everyone remember the roadblocks for this weekend also.
IF you choose to drink on this weekend, PLEASE! think of your families safety and other families safety and DO NOT drink and drive, its not worth it.
take it from someone who has had 5 D.U.I.'s, and is a rehabilitated/recovering alcholic celebrating 5 years of sobriety.

ITS NOT WORTH IT!!!

I spent my 4th at a camper-ground going down a 600 foot long waterslide with my kids for about 6 hours. I can hardly lift my arms now they are so sore.

For fun (and necessity), I got four 14-year-old "boys" booted from the slide for being vulgar and sexually suggestive towards two teenage girls. Good thing I controlled my anger or the fireworks might have started early that day. Idiot guys shouldn't talk like that in front of a man's young boys -- not to mention the disrespect to the appalled teenage girls. I felt compelled to apologize to the girls for not taking action sooner. I think me and two other people were the only ones over the age of 16 making the 65-stair hike to the top of the slide, so I should been more responsible. Ah, well. It ended as it should. The ringleader's father got to hear me describe in partial detail (only PG-13 level) what his darling little boy was saying.

But, happy belated 4th. Hope yours didn't involve almost splatting a teenager into the concrete.

Happy 4th everyone!! Have fun and be safe!

For those with pets remember that fireworks can be very scary, please make sure they are confined and safe for the night.

ewwwwwww thats a gross pic! I got burnt 2 or 3 years ago with fireworks, but it wasn't quite that bad. It did, however, recquire a trip to Cinnicaniti to the burn hospital.

Happy belated independence day!
I was up in NE Ohio on a ski boat. :)

Don't quite get the comic but if you ever want to ski LMK. My wife hates pulling me around the lake but the things we do for love sometimes, like sitting on a sweaty horse for hours in August.

I thought everyone from Ohio went to lake Cumberland in Kentucky to boat. there is a sign there that says welcome to lake Cumberland home of the buckeye navy

Sounds good Dave. I'll pass on the sweaty horse though... we have an 'agreement.' The comic is an oblique "Freebird" reference (Lynard Skynyrd).

That's probably true of folks down in Columbus or Cincinatti. Ohio is huge. There are several reservoirs within an hour's drive of where I grew up, not to mention the infamous party lakes aka the Portage Lakes next door.
