Hello Live Aquaria Specialists,
Just wanted to drop a note and say 'thank you' for my order! I got it about 2 hours ago and aclimated it all into my tank. I got a Citron Clown Goby and a Nano Soft Coral Pack. Everything was shipped superbly with heat packs, triple bagged and in a large styrofoam box (then in a shipping box). It seems like the fedex guy did a good job and actually handled it with care :) My 12g NC looks great now! It's normal for the goby to kinda sit on the sand when first in the tank, correct? It is the cutest goby i have ever seen..i will be sure to order from Live Aquaria again! 110% satisfied! Thank you again....

Sincerely,
Sophia Graniela

It started swimming around..but i noticed the clown goby has faded spots on it's fins..what is that? Not small white spots like it. Maybe it's just stress? Thanks..

Dear Sophia,

I am happy to hear that you are satisfied with your order from Live Aquaria. As you mentioned our shipping materials are the 'top of the line' to ensure that you receive your items in the best condition possible. We have staff members that check the weather in all our shipping areas daily to determine if heat or cooling packs are necessary. FedEx also has a great standing of delivering our live items with great care and consideration.

The Citrinis Clown Goby that you received is a little stressed at this time. He just experienced quite the adventure from the ocean to your aquarium. He has made some stops on the way to ensure he was happy and healthy prior to being sent to you. He will need some time to adjust to your aquarium.

Part of his adjustment will include absorbing his surroundings and becoming comfortable with the existing items and structures in your aquarium. The loss of color on your Goby is most likely due to the stress he has endured. Our extensive acclimation procedure you received with your order suggests keeping the aquarium lights off for at least four hours. In the next few days you will want to continually check on your new inhabitant to ensure these spots recolor and that he is eating. The Citrinis Clown Goby's diet should consist of a variety of brine shrimp, frozen mysid shrimp, table shrimp, and frozen food preparations for carnivores. You may also use Garlic Extreme to entice him to eat.

We are here for your support 24/7 and have knowledgeable staff that can answer your questions. We are always willing to help a beginner ease into this hobby by educating them and assisting them in any problems along the way. We also have thousands of articles available on our PetEducation.com website which you will find useful. Please keep us posted of your Goby’s progress. Our staff is here to ensure that you remain completly satisfied with your purchases.

Welcome to the hobby,

Jaimie Anderson
Assistant Manager of Live Aquaria
