I am sorry guys, but I am not in the mood for joking right now.

My sister in-law's fiance has been very ill. He had a severe staff infection throughout his body, but he is finally at peace now. He died yesterday from heart failure. He was 32.

My sister in law is devistated and I am crushed. He was a good friend of mine and I will never forget him. It's not fair and I am really so damn mad at god right now. He was an incredible person with the world in the palm of his hand.

Why.

I am also so sorry to hear of your family's loss. My prayers will be with you all. There is some great work being done and support offered for people affected by the rise of antibiotic resistant infections. One site is http://www.mrsaresources.com. This is a group of laypeople. Your sister may find some comfort in speaking with others in the same situation. Another is in Manhattan, it is the Committee to Reduce Infection Deaths. They are more of a political group, lobbying for change. A good friend of mine there lost her mother to staph. If you think it would help, I could ask her to call your sister.
