Here is the start of my 135g reef. It is a Glasscages.com tank (72"Lx18"Wx24"T), stand, hood, and 38g sump. I originally bought the tank in 2007 and had it partially set-up for about a year, but then decided to drain it, and thus has been sitting in my basement until now. Recently after dabbling with nano reefs I realized I really wanted to set up this tank again. So 100 lbs. of BRS dry rock later, here it is. I still need to wash some more sand, and then will be filling it up.

Equipment:
-135g tank
-38g sump
-Tunze 9010 skimmer
-4x 96w PC lights
-4x Koralia 1

The is going to be a hardy softy/LPS tank. Still, whenever possible I would like to upgrade the lighting to a MH/T5 fixture & stronger powerheads (aiming for about 25-35x circulation).

Thanks for looking!

***sorry for the bad pictures, I'm still getting use to my camera, and the reflections from the black background aren't helping***

I like your aquascaping!

Also that closet on the right is a great place for a fuge, ATO, and all your equipment!! :D

Thanks! Unfortunately that closet is all ready in use (sprinkler pump or something).

As you can see, this will be a somewhat slow build

After adding the RO water and salting it, I figure my next step is to seed the rock somehow. I 'm thinking some Premium Aquatics LR rubble. I might also get some invert cultures from IPSF.com.

Update time!
Well, it has been a very long time since I updated this thread. Suffice to say the tank has changed a lot. In fact, the whole aquascape has been redone twice, and all of the rocks you see in the 1st post are no longer in the tank. Without further ado:

I am still working on my photography skills. For some reason full tank shots give me trouble. They either come out very contrasty or very dull, and they always seem somewhat fuzzy.

Fun Fact #1 About the System:
