Hard Plumbing a Gen-X 6000 ?

From the people I have spoken to, it sounds like both the intake and the output of a Gen-X 6000 pump is 1" female NPT. If this is true, hard plumbing them for external use becomes really easy.

Can anyone please confirm or deny this? Thanks

PCX-30 3/4" MPT
PCX-40 3/4" MPT
PCX-100 1" MPT
PCX-150 1" MPT
PCX-55 1" MPT
PCX-70 1" MPT


Sumbmersibles I have seen are barbed.

Thanks for the reply... I believe those hose barb fittings on the submersible line are thread fitted to the pump body... so taking those off would leave...??

if you are talking about the NW pump, i know that the volute on the intake side is 1", without the volute you can connect to the input with a 1" male threaded. The output on the other hand requires a 3/4" male threaded fitting.

So, Gen-x 6000 needlewheel takes:

1" MIPT (Male NPT) input
3/4" MIPT (Male NPT) output
