Hard To Find Fish

I'm looking for a Bellus Angel. I'm having a hard time finding this fish. The LFS has been trying for awhile to get another one back in, but they haven't had any luck. The other LFS can't get them or never heard of it.

Where do you go to find fish that are hard to get? I've found one at PhishyBusiness.com, but it's pretty expensive. Almost, double what I could buy it for at my LFS (which is pricey to begin with) if they could get it in. It really isn't worth that much. Anyway, where else should I look? I've tried all the vendors on here that have their own forum.

Any suggestions?

they have lots of rare fish, but bellus angels ARE expensive, so be prepared no matter WHERE you get it, its gonna cost a purty penny.

Yeah, they are very expensive. I'm not sure why either. Most places charge $80 - $90 for them. I guess because they are hard to get, but you would think the others would charge that much as well.

Good Luck BM!

You can't have bad luck forever, right?

Keep us posted as to where you get them from... it is so sad they aren't more popular - except for a few individuals, they are generally considered to be reef safe.
You get the beauty of an angel but without the attitude or destructiveness.
You'd think everyone would have them. Maybe they just aren't well known? I'd never heard of them before this post...

Correct, you get the beauty of an angelfish without destruction to your reef.

I paid $130 for this Bellus from my LFS - and the owner of the LFS always cuts me really great deals - deep discounts because I am a regular...

Never touched a coral, never aggressive, always swimming, only fish in my reef that eats directly from my fingers!

Worth it IMHO, I waited for this fish to show up for well over a year....amazing coloration and pattern....
