I've been reef keeping for several years now 10+ to be exact and there are certain corals and fish I've always stayed away from and won't purchase as I know better. An Elegance coral being one of them. However, recently for some reason I've had it on my mind that I want one as I've cleared about a foot and a half of tank space (sold off some colonies)
My question is how truly hardy are Aussie Elegance Corals? This is one of those particular corals that I've always stayed away from and have never purchased one. They say the Aussies are significantly hardier than the indo's but I'm looking for other peoples experience as I've seen even Aussies parish.
I know plenty of people out there have experience with the Aussies so please, let me hear your experience. Pics won't hurt either.
One of the LFS has some fairly large beautiful Aussies in and I need someone to convince me that I'm right and not to but it!
