Hey, I was thinking about either a small species only tank or a small tank with one or two and maybe a small goby or two (think: the real little guys like red headed or tiger/zebra/other-common-names size). Had a few questions about their care though.
1. What size tank for fore mentioned set ups, 5 1/2 too small? I have about 6 years experience in salt water, most of which is with a 10 gallon and a 24 gallon nano reef so if they can be in a little tank I feel confidant in my ability to do so.
2. General info. Life span, Size, etc., are they actually worth getting or is it going to be like watching paint dry?
3. I've read that those horrible hitchhiking six legged seastars (real name escapes me right now, something with an a? haha) are a natural source of food for them. I have access to plenty of these little bastards, is that a good source of food for most feedings with every now and then (once every two weeks?) getting a big ol' chocolate chip or other available seastars?
4. Any other tips or anecdotes?
