harlequin shrimp sexing?

i've had a harlequin shrimp for about 4 or 5 months now, and ive been wanting to get him/her a mate or friend. ive looked online to tell the difference between male and female but im not a hundred percent sure what mine is. Are the spots on the females abdomen blatantly ovious? and lastly where is a good place to get a second harlequin and get the right sex?

And when you do get the 2nd one, make sure you keep an eye on them once you introduce him. same sex will fight.

ive read that article i just wanted to make sure of what i have, before i find a mate. any ideas on a good place to get a 2nd one and they can get the exact sex

sorry, i don't. I purchase my livestock at the LFS. so no experience with online. any local stores that can special order one for you? that way you can see it before purchasing it.

sorry i that response sounded mean i just read through that article about a day ago, and as for getting me one ill keep it in mind, i really appreciate the offer. ill let u know, i just want the shrimp to get better first.

yeah i work at a all salt fish store, and i know it sound wierd that im not getting one from there but they dont know if they can get me exactly the right sex.

can you order a pair...wait for yours to recover...and bring that in to sell at the LFS
