It takes them about a week to eat the whole thing.
This took place in my friends tank... I have never seen them before:eek2: . Now I'm looking for a pair. I think they are the coolest!

yea if you have a supply of cheap stars
they only eat the feet of a starfish none of the rest
they have been known to feed the starfish to keep it alive while they eat it
