Would a pair of seahorses be happy in a nano with a pair of harlequin shrimp? I have not been able to find any info on the compatiblity of these two species. Thanks!

Harlequins are safe with seahorses. You probably haven't been able to find much info b/c since the harlequins need seastars for food, most SH keepers don't attempt them.
That being said, the SH still might not be happy depending on what type of nano setup you have. I wouldn't put a pair of seahorses in anything less than 29 gallons, wouldn't keep them above 74 degrees F, and wouldn't keep them with any stinging corals, anemones, urchins, or anything else that wouldn't be safe for them to wrap their tails around.

I got a pair of seahorses in a 20g tall and also a pair of harlequins that has been with me for almost two years. They can be kept with each other however I noticed the female shrimp getting annoyed at the seahorses for straying near their food sometimes. The shrimps might "pick" at the seahorses but the seahorses barely notice them. I have both pair in the same tank for a good half year now with no problems. I say go for it.

just bought a HQ for my horse 30g from Tropicorium and they said there will be absoultely noproblem. 1 day and alls well. Amazing how quick he got the CC star. Both had only been in the tank 2 hours.
