My vote is indo. The orange isn't as pure on the first stripes. Eitherway a beauty. The red tail isn't an indicator.

Get this, mine I've had for almost 2 years is practically blind!!!!! Swims into stuff, can't find food. At first I thought it gave up food, but it can't see it to eat it. So now I feed it by hand which is kind of risky or with a stick. Either way it is eating. WHY am I telling you this? I went reading about blind tusks and saw that it was quite common on WWM and thought I'd pass it on. I hadn't heard about it before having it happen to my fish.

I am actually going to dissent with the previous posters and say Ausi. From what I understand the main visual difference is how vibrant the coloration is, and your's looks very vibrant to me. In addition, it looks almost exactly like mine, which was sold to me by a reputable seller as an Australian Tusk, both of which are much brighter than the Indos I have seen.

My vote is for Indo - it doesn't have the extra large blue patch where the back of the dorsal fin meets the body.

Indo?
The Philippines is the other source, not Indo!
And...its an Aussie.
Aside from the previously mentioned points, the bluer teeth readily give it away.

By the way guys , his eye is all better!!! He has been eating great for the last 10 days, mysis, freeze dried shrimp, and other stuff...

what is its size ? Seems to be too smallto be aussie... usually teeth should be dark blue in aussie tusks... mine is from indo and looks like yours... only 2.5 inch... which is not available in aussie suppliers (4+ only) ...
if healthy after first 2 months...should become bolder and strong no matter origin....
