Harlequine Shrimp had babies please help!!!

I work at the LFS and a pair of harlequine shrimp we have breed and today we had like a thousand pin head size babies hatch in a 20g. I quiclky got a 5g tank and a baby brine net and got most of the babies that were in the 20g with some other smaller fish. Now my ? is has this happened in captivity? and are all the babies going to perish in the 5g? What do they need to survive?chopped up blender grinded starfish-lol. just kiddin.

no the smaller gobys ate mosst of them in the tank.This was at my job in LFS.At least i tried.
