A few days back I finally got my Harliquin Tusk, beautiful fish. He's doing really good, out a lot, although he does hide when I approach the tank to feed, so I have to overfeed slightly so there's some food still out when he comes out of the rock two minutes later to eat.
Anyway, last night I was sitting in the living room around 11pm with all the fish tank lights off. The only light was the kitchen which only cast a very faint light over the tank. It was enough to see that everything else was asleep as normal, but the Tusk was swimming around the tank. Nothing frantic, just constant laps back and forth. I was curious if this is a normal behavior, or if he's unable to find a cave 'home' in my rockwork dispite all the caves I have. Do I have to redo my rock? Thanks.
