I can only give you info from very short term experience. Small snail are a snack. My fighting conchs and big snails have been of no interest. My 3 clams have been paid no attention at all. Long term... I don't know yet

The not bothering large snails is a relief to me, I just brought home a tusk and remembered I have tropical abalone (pretty much a very large snail). Hopefully this guy won't be tempted like yours (they are almost as big as him, lol)
I had one in my sps tank with 6 clams and a load of snails. He unfortunately ate the cleaner shrimp but never bothered any clams. He flipped a couple of turbo snails upside sown a few times but they were all accounted for.
He was subsequently removed because of how thin all the other fish in the tank were getting. He was an absolute pig and would take half a sheet of nori in his mouth and hide behind a rock until he had eaten it all. Needless to say he was donated to a local public aquarium where he is now over 10" long. A very beautiful fish that eats a lot!
