Has anyone built brackets for Chinese black box LED?

Most of these -except ocean revive - come with a hanging kit. Has anyone made a bracket or leg mount for these lights?

I just took two shelf brackets, screwed them onto the wall and placed the lights on it. Not the prettiest but it works

I built this for mine. I know its hanging, but you could easily adapt legs to it.

I am currently in the design phase for my 16" model for my 50g cube. Trying to do 1x8 pine box to hid the light in and hang it from the wall with the Rubbermaid shelving kit with about 6 or 7 slots to move the light up or down based on need. Will have the two arms extend thru the back 1x8 and attach to the sides via screws....

That's my tank. :)
Yea I used some Walmart tv wall mounts that were $12 and mounted them to the wall. They worked perfect and looked good.

Worked perfect I'll accept your evaluation.
Look good... I guess that's in the eye of the beholder! But I've seen a lot worse!

There are some guys who build brackets for Chinese Black Box,join Chinese LED Reef Lights Group on Facebook, you can get anything what you need.

I used a TV ceiling swivel mount. I mounted the thing on the wall & sideways so I can just push the entire light to the side to get into the tank.

This is my setup with three boxes. Built with 2X1 metal beams soldered and a bracket to the wall.

There was a dude on Nano - Reef who used a Radion XR15 RMS mount with his Ocean Revive T247B fixture. I think he used self tapping screws but I'm sure you can open up the fixture and secure them with bolts. Came out super nice IMO.

Honestly I don't think that I would trust self tapping screws. Especially if you don't know what you're drilling into
